LYDIA

"Step into a World of Beauty, Power, and Ancient Magic"

Lydia is a contemplative soul, her room filled
with symbols of introspection and spiritual growth.

Her graffiti is less chaotic, more symbolic, as if
every stroke represents a philosophical thought or life lesson.

Her feline companions mirror her stillness, watching the
world with quiet intensity.

Lydia’s purpose is to inspire moments of reflection
and self-awareness.

She encourages viewers to embrace stillness and find
meaning in the everyday moments
of life.

Lydia was created as a meditation on the importance of
self-reflection
.

In a world of constant motion, I wanted to highlight the
beauty of stillness and thought
.

Lydia’s calm presence reminds us to look within for
answers
and wisdom.

Meet the Artist, Marlene Di Caponi

Previously married to a musician in the Rod Steward band in the 70s, Marlene has traveled the world. She has an artistic perspective and it shows in her work.

Marlene is a lover of life, travel, art, music and food.

"This is what connects us." She shares life with her husband, Michael, (who is also an artist!) for 36 years.

I have been an artist since I was a child. I have painted, sketched, drawn and collected art for decades. It seemed like everyone was asking me to sell my art. I never once thought about selling my art.

Michael, my husband for 36 years is my biggest fan and I adore him. Upon my husbands persistence that the world would like to experience my vision and taste for art and I finally said okay, let's do it."

My wife, Marlene Di Caponi...

Marlene, Founder of ArTE Di CaPOni, is a lifelong Artist and Collector. Her previous husband was a member of the Rod Stewart band in the 70's in which she did world tours with the band.

Her vision and perspective on life is to love fully and experience each moment and share generously. I am fortunate to have shared my life with this exceptional woman. I call her Legendary because the way she touched so many.

Marlene is unforgettable. When we met, I drove a beat up old van. She drove a beat up brand new Mercedes! (Now she is a very good driver, haha!). The very biggest rock stars and movie stars and Major League Baseball stars chased her.

I spent my last dollar on our first date. I got the prize. I love and adore her immensely, but more importantly, I like her. Marlene is just a great person.

I am proud to be her husband for the past 36 years. - Michael

Lydia – Melancholy Muse Canvas Print Wall Art | Cat Ladies 60s

Lydia doesn’t speak much — but she says everything with her eyes.
She’s the kind of woman you notice last, then think about forever. Wrapped in the soft melancholy of the 60s, Lydia carries the weight of unspoken poetry and the beauty of things left unsaid. Her cat — curled like a comma beside her — waits, watches, listens.

She reminds you of someone… or maybe she is you.
There’s a calm sadness to Lydia, the kind that only comes from knowing both love and loss. She doesn’t wear her heart on her sleeve — she protects it, like something sacred. In her stillness, she reflects your own. The ache. The resilience. The quiet power of surviving.

Hang Lydia and let the room breathe differently.
This canvas doesn’t just decorate — it resonates. Lydia invites reflection, softness, and a deep exhale. She belongs where truth lives — a corner of stillness, a sanctuary of soul. And once she’s there, she never leaves you.
